1) Drilled Footing is a Reinforced Concrete Pier with a Typical
12" Diameter Shaft  and a 36" Diameter Bell Bottom Footing
that is  capped w/ 16"x 16" Concrete Plinth.  This type has a
perimeter Wood Girder Beam that Floor Joist are placed on top
of, or abutting the Beam and attached with Joist Hangers.

Spread Footing is a Reinforced Concrete Footing continuous
around the perimeter that is approximately 3 to 4 feet below
grade and 2 to 3 feet wide and 12" high , depending on the
soil condition.  This type will have a continuous concrete
block wall laid to approximately 30" above grade with venting
and access to the crawl space.  The Floor Joist are placed on
top of a Sill Plate that is attached to the concrete block wall.
